The 40 is to a point where it is actually nice to drive. I removed a
leaf from the rear springs, added 2 degree shims in the front to help
with the steering, and I finally got it running great!
I had the hood painted and just installed it last night (10/26). I still have a huge list of things I want to do to it, but it is now what I would call "completed".

Swapping a 3.4L engine into '95 4runner |

 I have recently completed swapping a 3.4L V6 Tacoma/4runner engine into my '95 4runner. The engine is more powerful than the 3.0, and gets better gas milage.
I am now driving the truck daily and have sold my FJ80. It has been running well, and the gas milage is great compared to what the 80 got! Check out the article in the Technical section of this website. |
